Data Protection Officer

Must be a professional with extensive skills in compliance, risk analysis, information security, protection of personal data and privacy. The DPO will be responsible for implementing and / or managing an organization’s Privacy and Personal Data Protection Compliance Program, overseeing compliance with the good practices defined in the organization’s internal policies, reporting to managers and notifying the competent authorities and personal data about any information security incident that may eventually expose personal data of employees or customers, in accordance with the laws in force in each jurisdiction.

The hiring of a Data Protection Officer is a mandatory legal requirement in several jurisdictions such as the GDPR (Regulation 2016/679) in the countries of the European Union and the Schengen Area, the LGPD (Law No. 13,709 / 2018) in Brazil, the GDPR (Regulation 2016 / 679) in the countries of the European Union and the Schengen Area, the Data Protection Act 2018 in the United Kingdom, California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) in California, among others.
